Find Your Yoga Type

My Process

Plan: I started with my ultimate goal: Helping clients discover the best type of yoga for them based off their workout goals and needs. Most clients don't know there are many different types of yoga and can struggle to find the type best suited for them. It can be difficult figuring out where to start. I wanted to design a tool they will use to quickly guide them towards finding the best type of yoga to practice for their workout goals.

Design: I started my design process by researching different types of yoga. I used multiple sources and complied a list of the most common types, created a short description of the type, as well as the difficulty level. I knew I would include helpful images that connect to the information.

Develop: I began my development process by selecting the design tool I thought best for making infographics: Canva. Since this is a quick reference graphic I kept the colors organized and to a minimum, while still selecting a key color to make the graphic eye-catching. I chose basic text and images to enhance the information, but not distract the eye from the information. I selected images that connect to the yoga type and description as a form of visual aid. I selected background clip art to enhance the graphic and add a natural element.

After the initial design was complete, it went through a feedback loop and suggested changes were made. Then, the graphic went through a second feedback loop of specialists and final changes were made.
